4月8日，北京冬奥会、冬残奥会总结表彰大会在京召开，对在北京冬奥会、冬残奥会筹办和竞赛中作出突出贡献的个集体和名个人进行表彰。在人民大会堂，武大靖接受CGTN专访时直言心情非常激动，虽本届冬奥没能获得个人单项金牌，但他说，只要中国队能拿冠军他都非常高兴。武大靖还说，今后想把中国体育精神和奥林匹克精神传递给更多年轻人，“希望能有更多人参与冰雪项目！”
